My name is Lee Humphries and I am I guess a senior. I’m a little bit of a non-traditional student in the sense that I’m a transfer student to Michigan Tech. When I was trying to figure out we’re going to study abroad I chose China a little bit because I wanted to use Mandarin, a little bit because it was the least expensive program and I thought that I could spend all the money that I was saving traveling all around Asia. So I had an amazing experience kind of in a language intensive program, learning Mandarin 15 hours a week. My main skill is that I can negotiate with 40-year-old Chinese women for the price of most items. But yeah I had an amazing experience traveling through Tibet, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand. And I would definitely recommend it to anybody else.
