Fence education welcomes all MBBS aspirants
from Tamilnadu. As you know Round-1 medical counselling for
government quota MBBS seats in Tamilnadu have just completed for the year 2018. Fence education congratulating all successful
candidates those who got govt quota medical seats in Tamilnadu. This video is going to share the round-1 tamilnadu
NEET cut off results and to discuss the other options for students those who have missed
govt quota MBBS seats. Lets analyse the round -1 cut off marks for
category wise. For Open Category, the Round-1 cutoff is 430. Remember the final last year 2017 cutoff for
OC category was 385. For BC it is 375, which is 60 marks higher
than the last year cutoff. For MBC, the round-1 neet cutoff for this
year 2018 is 327. The least preferred government medical college
in Tamilnadu this year is Pudukottai medical college for most of the reservation categories. Last year also, this medical college was the
least preferred among the medical students during the Tamilnadu medical counselling. Now let’s see the options available for
students who got less than this cutoff marks. For BC students who got NEET score greater
than 340 may get a chance in tamilnadu round-2 counselling. Similarly for MBC, the score should be above
300 and for SC it should be above 230. Keep it in mind that the round-2 cutoff would
not significantly reduce as in case of All India Quota counselling because students who
got in state quota won’t vacate their seats. Now the question is What if your score is
below this cut off marks. You know there are 45,336 students have cleared
NEET 2018 conducted by the central board of secondary education on may 6th. Whereas only around 4000 govt medical seats
are available in Tamilnadu medical colleges. Apart from getting government medical seats,
You have two more options to get MBBS admission. The first option is management quota in private
colleges. Remember only around 1600 management seats
are available in the private colleges in Tamilnadu. And keep it in mind that the tuition fees
for management quota is 12.5 lakhs/year. If you have applied for private colleges in
Tamilnadu state counselling, then the fence education would like to inform you that the
counselling is expected to start by 16-July-2018 as per Tamilnadu Medical Counselling Committee
notification. In case, If you have not applied for management
quota in Tamilnadu, then again you have one more option. That is studying medicine in abroad medical
colleges. The Medical Council of India has approved
400 medical colleges for Indian students to get medical course admission in foreign countries. Keep it in mind Tuition fees for good foreign
college starts from Rs 4 lakhs/year. Whereas the tuition fees for management quota
in tamilnadu is 12.5 lakhs/year. For medical admission in foreign countries
your score should be above the qualifying marks in NEET examination. That is 96 to get admission in abroad medical
colleges. If you need more information and guidance
