Great lesson Steve, I'm getting ready to learn a couple O.A.R. songs and this puts a lot of my strumming questions in context.

Well explained! Great teacher!
A have an amp from Hughes & Kettner. Not as good as your's,but for me and for what I paid is superb.Got the distorsion, but not a lot more.Pedals.Pedals(you don't need anything, but it's funny and it gives you that little kick, that you sometimes need to take the guitar and play and try interesting sounds and learn scales and other things.1.,4.,5,6th string I've got them, but I have a huge ocean still to swim.Problem is when you get confused and don't know wich is the better step to take.Theory is not important as long as you get it.But the real guitarists know the systems and then they get it.Theory is VERY important.Using it w/o thinking. It must be in you
It's always so wonderful to watch and learn from u ..u make things so simpler and beautiful.. Steve…
