Let us picture a map. As children, we lay our curious eyes upon this map for the first time and we have no idea what it is or what it means. As we grow older, we are taught by our teachers how to read the legend, how to distinguish latitude from longitude and how to pronounce the names of the different countries. You see, our teachers can provide us with every single intangible necessary to use the map. But at the end of the day, the decision of how you choose to use the map lies solely in your hands. You can use the concrete highways that society has forced us to use that links everyone to the same exact place or you can take that exit, get off of the highway, and find your own destination. And with that, I’ll leave you with this: One. Simple. Question. How will you use your map? MiamiOH.edu/StudyAbroad
