Welcome to the Learning Resource Center at the Charles Community College. The Learning Resource Center, also known as the LRC, houses the library and the Help Desk. Whether you need help with that next project or if you just need a quiet place to study, the LRC has all the resources you’ll need and a friendly, helpful staff to assist you along the way. On the first floor once you enter the
LRC, you’ll find the reference in circulation
areas. Come to the reference desk for help finding that book or article you need and then head over to the circulation desk for assistance with checking out or reserving your materials. You can also relax in the Information Commons, located on the first floor past the reference desk. This area comes complete with magazines, vending machines, and a large television for watching your favorite programs. Also located in the Information Commons is the Help Desk. The staff here can assist you with any computer related issues or if you have trouble accessing the college’s wifi service. On the second floor, you’ll find the stats were your books are located. There are lots of quiet study areas, with private viewing stations for watching your videos. Don’t forget to stroll down the
classroom hallway where there are several private study rooms for group
work. The library opens at 7:30 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday with closing time on Friday
at 4:30 p.m. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Be sure to stop by the library to see everything it has to offer. But if you stay too late, you may have to come back tomorrow
